Itinerância Fruturos Tempos Amazônicos

The exhibition invites us to reflect on a new model of socioeconomic development in the Amazon that is based on scientific knowledge, the wisdom and practices of traditional populations, and the commitment to keeping the forest standing, reflecting on the aspects that have led to its degradation and establishing a new model of sustainable and inclusive development in the region. It is in our hands to sow this path.

What kind of Amazon do we want for the future? What solutions will allow us to keep the forest standing and, at the same time, provide quality of life for the more than 30 million people who inhabit this biome? After a successful season at the Museum of Tomorrow, attracting more than 200 thousand visitors, FRUTUROS - Tempos Amazônicos, exhibited between December 2021 and June 2022, will be available in four cities in Brazil: São Luís, capital of Maranhão, and three cities in Pará: Canaã dos Carajás, Parauapebas and Belém.
